Through the use of video-conferencing technology, the Tele-Mental Health Service provides publicly funded child and youth mental health (CYMH) community service providers with access to expert specialized mental health consultations with a psychiatrist.
Consultations may be in the form of clinical consultations (direct interaction between a child/youth and psychiatric expertise), and/ or program consultations (professional-to-professional dialogue about a specific child/youth, treatment, or mental health condition).
